Similarities

  1. Hey Charlie!
How are you? I read your very entertaining interview! And were similar and different in many ways! For example, both our parents, were very supported and wanted me to do what I do now! It seemed like your parents both were your mentors and so were mine. But my parents really weren't my mentors but of course they taught me, the way of life. But they helped me more to get mentors who taught me what Jazz is a type of music characterized by improvisation, syncopation, and usually a regular or forceful rhythm. Is what my mentors told me who just like you helped my crazy self, in the business. Whether it was music or acting.
A lot of the things like, The Great Depression, WWI, WWII, also influenced me. Hey! At least you didn’t have to deal with Segregation!! Ha, that was heck to deal with. But everybody has limits.
Vaudville? I’ve heard that before….hmmmm! Ah ha you slick dog! Yah ever heard of Sophie Tucker?!?!! She’s a Vaudville actress. She’s a sweetheart, check out her interview I think you two have a lot in common.
Hey by the way, heard from a lil’ baby birdy, its your birthday today so!
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

  2. We are both into the arts right? Well for starters. I've working in movie business for some time...but that did not appeal to me. We both dealt with the tragedies of both wars, and how the economy brought us down to...hanging in wire at a point, am I right? It was not easy...we must be similar in that way, right?

Do I have any tricks up my sleeve like the great ol' Charlie? Nope, sorry!

  3. Well Charlie Honey!! I must tell you we have a lot in common. I Hear you are in Vaudeville? So am I! I started working in Vaudeville at a very young age when I started traveling with the Follies. I've never seen your specific act, but by the looks of it you are a Vaudeville expert aswell! Im sure we've both hit the Vaudeville chain a million times before, its simply the love of being on stage. We are both comedians and actors and stage performers. Also, I completely understand what you said in your interview about the performance field when you first entered it, it most definitely was cut throat. Everyone at first told me I would never make it in this field, but i proved them all wrong when I did.

I mean Sophie worked the Vaudeville stage just like myself and Igor has even worked in film! And lets not forget that my good friend, the grand Duke Ellington, shares a passion for music (and by reading his comments, humor also) with me and he is a very funny fella. He also has good taste in women, am I right Sophie? Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
